Once upon a time in London, there was a boy named Mark. Mark was always cheerful and energetic. He knew how to enjoy life and he always did. Since childhood, he was very joyous and always happy no matter what was going around him. In the school also he was the happiest and most cheerful guy to be around. He never cared for studies and grades, he knew how to enjoy life. And somehow he always found his way to get through to the next class. This thing always continued, even in his higher studies and graduation also he was the happiest person in his group.
Mark grew up and now he started his business in a creative field. There were struggles. There were some ups and downs. But that did not affect his happiness level. He always seemed to be happy as always. Then his business settled and he was doing good. But he never liked certainty. He never wanted to be like doing the same thing and following the same routine. He always embraced uncertainty. He liked to learn new skills, take new courses and study new things. He continued learning and getting new degrees even while he was working. He always enjoyed his professional life and was the happiest person ever. He always thought he is living his best life and that he does not need anything or anyone else to make him happy. He loved his freedom more than anything else.
Mark was in his early thirties when his family and friends asked him to get married and settle down. But Mark loved his life the way it was, he had never felt any need for a life partner. He was happy with his life. Mark was also very good at heart and he respected the feelings and emotions of people around him. So, he decided not to hurt anyone and get married, though he was a little worried about how his life would be after marriage. He got married to a girl named Maria who was a creative artist. Mark thought that as Maria was also in a creative field, she may understand him better.
Initially, things looked pretty normal after marriage. But then in some time, the married life showed up. There were always little arguments and conflicts going on. But that never affected Mark. He was still happy with his life and he knew very well that this was all part of life.
Today, it's the silver jubilee anniversary of Mark and Maria. And they are both happy with their life. There are still problems, arguments and quarrels, but it goes on. Mark is still as happy as always.
There will always be some circumstances in life, some issues in our life, and some people in our life that will create trouble for us. It can disturb us, but still, it is always upon us how to react to it or deal with it. And your happiness is always your choice. It has nothing to do with your external circumstances. It has to be your inner state, your innate nature. Always remember that happiness comes from within and not without. Mark was always happy no matter what was going on around him. You also can choose happiness. It is always upon you to be happy, no matter what.
